摘要
本文采用调查问卷和访谈的形式,以三峡大学大学非英语专业本科生为调查对象,调查分析调查对象对大学英语翻译教学的需求现状。通过了解调查对象对现阶段大学英语翻译教学的主观和客观需求,解决学生为什么学、学什么以及如何学的问题,为提高大学英语翻译教学效果提出建议,以期应对不断深化的大学英语教学改革。
This paper reports on a needs-analysis-based study for non-English majors' translation study with special reference to China Three Gorges University. The study aims to prob into the current situation of college English translation study and help non-English majors figure out the motivation, content and procedures of translation study. Since the existing translation teaching curriculum fails to fulfill personalized needs, some suggestions have been offered to keep pace with the direction of college English translation teaching reform. With more diversified contents and variation, college English translation teaching can be greatly improved to meet non-English majors' demands.
