On the Reliance of Sun-wu Kingdom in Three Kingdoms Period on Hunan-Guangxi Corridor in Nanling Road:On the Development of Dayuling Road

湘桂走廊对孙吴政权控制、开发岭南非常重要。步骘、陶璜都选择湘桂走廊为出兵路线,反映出孙吴政权倚重湘桂走廊统治岭南。大庾岭古道在孙皓时期开始经营,到南北朝时期才有了大规模的开发。

Hunan-Guangxi corridor is of notable significance for the Sun Wu Kingdom to control and develop Lingnan. Both Bu Zhi and Tao Huang chose Hunan-Guangxi corridor to send troops, which reflects that the regime of the Sun Wu Kingdom relies on Hunan-Guangxi corridor to rule Lingnan. During the Sun Hao period, the operation of Dayuling initiated with the awareness of the significance of this ancient road, and the large-scale development appeared till the Northern and Southern Dynasties.
