Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), a type of psychological disorder, is associated with lots of negative results of children and adolescents, such as the school achievement, life and mental health. The school-based intervention for PTSD is implemented in the school context and based on subjects' physical and mental characteristics. Many research-based studies into school-based intervention for children and adolescents with PTSD have been done and showed promising results in reducing PTSD symptoms and improving adaptive behaviors. The current paper summarizes the empirical literatures on school-based intervention for children and adolescents with PTSD in terms of subjects, interventions, the focus of intervention and the results, and analyzes the strengths and weakness, hoping to offer some implications for the relative researches and practice in China.
