The paper introduces some stone apparent density detection methods. Through comparing it to liquid balance method,overflow channel method and improved wild-mouth bottle method,it concludes that stone apparent density detection method is a kind of new method,and explores stone detection accuracy for stones with various diameters and stones with similar diameters and various testing times,and finally points out that：the improved wild-mouth bottle method is the most efficient and accurate stone apparent density detection method.
