The paper analyzes the meaning for undertaking the management over the engineering cost,illustrates the cost control and management from the decision-making phase,design phase,implementation phase and bidding phase,and points out some strategies including the accurate calculation of engineering volume,the focus on the reasonable quota,and controlling price gaps of materials according to some problems in the optimal process of the engineering cost,so as to improve the management of engineering cost in enterprises.
