海外访学经历对高校英语教师专业认同的影响

摘要 文章以深度访谈为工具收集数据,从专业身份的四个方面出发,即教学技能、教学中的权衡取舍、教学艺术及学术研究,分析三位海外访学高校英语教师的专业认同所经历的变化和发展.海外访学经历加深了高校英语教师专业身份的自我认同,教师对各自的教学实践进行积极反思,同时在另一个学术共同体的经历和感受提升了教师对“学术人”身份的认同.海外访学项目为教师专业身份的建构和发展搭建了有力平台,教师的体验成为推动内在专业认同发展的重要力量.本研究的主要发现如下1)海外访学经历使教师专业身份的四个方面,即教学技能、教学中的权衡取舍、教学艺术和学术研究均发生不同程度的变化,最为明显的就是提升了教师对自己学术身份的认同;2)海外访学项目为教师专业身份的建构与发展搭建了有利平台,教师所经历的体验成为推动内在专业认同发展的重要力量.
