with the arrival of the era of big data, the library construction has been influenced accordingly. For librarians, how to grow into intelligent librarians in a new environment and utilize big data to provide personalized service for readers, are new problems today′s librarians are facing. Summarizing the connotation, structure, opportunities and challenges of big data environment, this paper analyses the connotation and characteristics of intelligent librarians based on that,and puts forward correspondent strategies for how to grow into intelligent librarians.
