编辑校对中误用率较高的“经常”类副词的语义、语用考察

Exploration of Misusage of the Adverbs and Editors' Judgment in Proofreading

"经常、常、常常、时常、通常、往往"这一组意义相近的频率副词在现代汉语中使用频率较高,由于它们的释义和词性相近,因此,学者们在论文写作中经常将其误用、混用,出现许多偏误。从语言学的角度,本着定量分析和定性分析相结合的原则,运用统计和替换的方法,对"经常"类副词的使用频率、语义和语体色彩等进行详细考察、比较,可以分析出高频副词"通常"、"往往"和中频副词"常"、"常常"、"时常"、"经常"的异同点,以及高频副词、中频副词内部小类的异同点,可以使人对这一组频率副词具有更直观的认识,便于人们在写作中正确使用这组副词,也可以为编辑同仁在编辑校对中做出正确判断提供参考依据。

As adverbs such as often（经常）, usually（常）, frequently（常常）, constant（时常）, generally（通常）, more often（往往） in modern Chinese have similar meaning and word class, they are misused sometimes and even result in biased errors when applied to academic writings. Based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative analyses, and the application of statistical method and substitution, detailed comparison among these adverbs has been made in order to define their frequency, semantic components and stylistic flavor. The differences between high-frequency adverbs generally（通常）, more often（往往） and medium-frequency adverbs often（经常）, usually（常）, frequently（常常）, constant（时常） as well as their internal sub-categories explored herein will be helpful to correctly use them and provide editors with references to make proper judgment in their proofreading.
