Study on the Safety Risk Transmission Mechanism of Product Quality——A Case Analysis of the Taiwan Waste Oil Incident

如何通过分析风险传导机制来有效管控产品质量安全风险事关各方的利益和经济稳定。产品质量安全风险虽然产生于企业的生产经营活动中,但其负面影响范围不再局限于企业本身。产品质量安全风险以物流、资金流和信息流为载体,在利益、信息、制度标准和品牌信誉等风险驱动力的作用下,沿着不同的风险传导路径向受险节点企业进行传导。为了有效管控产品质量安全风险,企业需要时刻关注自身的资金流、信息流和物流,采取措施优化企业利润增长方式,提高企业社会责任感,完善企业管理制度等。

How to effectively control product quality and safety risk through the analysis of the risk conduction mechanism is relative to the interest of all parties and economic stability. Product quality and safety risk is generated from all aspects of production and business activities, but its negative impacts are no longer limited to the enterprise. This paper discusses the risk conduction process and the transmission characteristics of the product quality and safety risk as well as transmission elements. Then, a comprehensive analysis of the driven forces and principles of transmission is made and a framework of the transmission mechanism of product quality and safety risk is proposed. Finally, based on a case study of the Taiwan＇s waste oil incident, the main transmission path and the transmission mechanism is obtained. The results suggest that in order to control product quality and safety risk efficiently, the corporates need to pay attention to their cash flows, information flows and logistics at all time, and take some measures to optimize the mode of profit growth and improve their social responsibility and strengthen the enterprise management system.
