胃脘痛是以上腹部胃脘区处疼痛为主症的病证,亦称为胃痛。胃脘痛在临床症状很常见,胃十二指肠溃疡、胃炎、功能性消化不良等疾病均可引起胃脘痛。唐宋前多称胃脘痛为心痛,到金元时期的《兰室秘藏》第一次出现"胃脘痛"一词,并将胃脘痛的证候、病因病机和治法与心痛明确区分开来,使胃脘痛成为有别于心痛的独立的病证。后代医家在其基础上不断的研究发展,使胃痛内容得以极大的丰富。中医在治疗胃脘痛的疗效很好,现将近几年来的祖国医学对脾胃虚寒型胃脘痛的研究总结如下。

Epigastric pain is the syndrome of upper abdominal pain epigastric region, also known as stomach pain. Epigastric pain is com-mon symptom, and gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastritis and functional dyspepsia and other diseases can cause epigastric pain. Before Tang and Song Dynasty, epigastric pain known as heartache. To the Jin and Yuan Dynasties, the ＂ epigastric pain＂ first appeared in Secret Book of Orchid Chamber, and epigastric pain syndrome, etiology, pathogenesis and therapeutic methods were clearly distinguished,and epigastric pain was a separate disease which was different from the heartache. Descendant ＇s doctors continued research and development, so that the stomach contents can be greatly enriched.
