摘要
双语水平的不对称性,引发口译中的"翻译非对称"现象,表现为译入A语时翻译速度更快,更易出现代码转译,而译入B语时反而更倾向意义翻译,加工速度较慢。本文在口译的交传情境下,运用修正层级模型对MI(口译专业硕士)和英语本科大三口译学员进行实证对比研究,发现"翻译非对称"现象在合成双语口译学员身上表现尤为明显,而随着双语水平和释意意识的提高,不对称现象也随之减弱。
The asymmetry in bilingual proficiency incurs the "translation asymmetry"in interpreting,which features faster reaction time and easier activation of transcoding in B-A interpreting,and slower reaction time and better sense-based transition in A-B interpreting. Based on the Revised Hierarchical Model,this paper further explores the "translation asymmetry"in consecutive interpreting by conducting a contrastive study of MI students and junior students of English major. The results indicate that the asymmetry is prominent in compound bilingual interpreting students,but the asymmetry will decrease as the students' bilingual proficiency and de-verbalization awareness improve.
