A Study on the Chongqing Writers' Mentality during the Anti Japanese War

抗战时期陪都重庆作家们的共同心声是救亡图存。随着抗战形势的发展和时代环境的改变,他们创作的群体心态也随之发生变化:由抗战初期的鼓动宣传和对民族命运的认真思考,到抗战中期担负的救亡责任和个人难以融入时代的困惑,终止于抗战后期难返故土的愤懑和对中国向何处去的忧虑。因作家们的艺术个性和生存境况不尽相同,在具体的创作中又呈现出不同的文学风格和艺术取向。

The common aspirations of the provisional capital Chongqing writers in the war period is salvation and survival. With the development of the situation of the Anti Japanese War and the change of the times and environment, their group creation mentality also changed： propaganda against Japan and careful consideration of the fate of the nation in the initial stage of the war of resistance, to the shouldering the responsibility of salvation and survival and the difficulties of integrating with the times in the middle stage, and to the resentment of the impossibility to return homeland, the concern with the destination of the country at the end of the war. As writers vary in artistry and living conditions, their literary style and artistry vary in specific writings.
