摘要
目的观察INFANT TRAINER治疗乳牙期错畸形的临床效果。方法选择18例乳牙期错畸形患儿,其中Ⅱ类错10例,Ⅲ类错8例,戴用澳大利亚Myofunctional Research公司(MRC)生产的INFANT TRAINER,观察矫治前后覆覆盖变化和口腔不良习惯改善情况。结果经过6个月的矫治,配合戴用良好的患儿前牙深覆深覆盖关系明显改善,前牙反解除,建立正常覆覆盖关系,口腔不良习惯破除,面型有所改善。结论 INFANT TRAINER适用于乳牙期前牙深覆深覆盖及前牙反的治疗,医生和家长协作共同鼓励和引导患儿正确按时地戴用训练器至关重要。
Objective To study the clinical effects of INFANT TRAINER appliance on malocclusion in primary dentition.Methods Ten patients with Class II malocclusion and 8patients with ClassⅢ malocclusion were treated with INFANT TRAINER.Overjet and overbite changes and bad oral habit of before and after treatment were observed and analysed.Results Patients who were with INFANT TRAINER compliance had their teeth aligned,deep overjet and deep overbite corrected,and facial profile improved 6months later.Conclusion INFANT TRAINER appliance is effective in treating malocclusion with deep overjet and deep overbite in primary dentition.It is important for doctors and parents to encourage and guide children to wear the appliance correctly and on time.
