Maritime silk Road Ignites the passion of Qingdao

由“中国职业帆船第一人”郭川担任船长，带领宋坤等国际船员组成的“梦之队”，驾驶创造过多次世界纪录的“中国·青岛”号三体超级大帆船，历时两个月时间，重走“海上丝绸之路”，沿途播散青岛热情。

On the morning of October 21,the event of 'Qingdao·China'- Sailing on the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road officially set sail.It is sponsored by the Qingdao Organizing Committee for the Sailing on the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road Program,organized by the Qingdao Olympic Sailing City Development Association,Qingdao Yachting Association,Oingdao Tourism Group and Great China Racing Management Company and supported by Russian Geographical Society,Chinese Yachting Association,China Institute of Navigation,Beijing Olympic City Development Foundation,Tsingtao Brewery Co.,Ltd as well as Haier Group.Captain Guo Chuan,the first Chinese sailor who has completed solo non-stop circumnavigation,and other international sailors such as Ms.Song Kun set sail aboard the super Trimaran IDEC named 'Qingdao·China'.Staring from the home port, 'Qingdao·China' will stop at nine cities including Shanghai,Guangzhou,Hong Kong,Singapore,Mirissa of Sri Lanka,Mumbai of India,Alexandria of Egypt,Genoa of Italy and Monaco.With the focus on nongovernmental exchanges on sport,tourism,culture,trade and overseas Chinese affairs,the event will show more of Qingdao to the world and in particular,promote Qjngdao as the Sailing City of China through press conference,welcome/departure ceremony,city brand promotion,boarding activity etc.
