An Insight into Privacy Protection in Reproductive Medical Practice

简述了患者隐私的相关概念,分析了生殖医学活动中的隐私泄露风险,包括诊疗过程中的隐私泄露和科研活动中的隐私泄露,提出了在生殖医学实践中,应加强医务工作者的隐私保护意识,规范患者病历尤其是试管婴儿档案的管理,跟进科研实践中的样品取材管理,规避各个环节可能存在的隐私泄露风险。

Privacy protection has gained more and more attention with the increasing awareness of civil rights.In recent years,how to protect privacy of patients has gradually become the common focus of laws,ethics,medicine and other subjects. Most patients in reproductive medicine center suffer both the disease itself and mental load from their surrounding environment. Leak of privacy in procedures of medical treatment and research practice would cause secondary damage to their mental status. In reproductive medical practice,in order to avoid possible risks of privacy violence,we should strengthen the awareness of privacy protection of medical workers,standardize the management of patients＇ files especially in the IVF cases. Besides,obtaining and use of specimens should be followed up to learn the whereabouts.
