网络玄幻小说的幻想以虚构世界与经验世界的隔离为内部产生机制,并形成了自身的美学张力。在广度上,因与现实的距离而容纳为精英文学所不屑或不能表现的素材和主题,形成了各具特色的虚构世界图景;在限度上,因无视现实而导致平面化、同质化,内容表现为单一的主角、单一的伦理情感以至单一的世界秩序,形式表现为单一的修辞技巧、单一的叙事模式。

The fantasy of illusory novel takes the isolation between the fictional world and experience world as the internal generation mechanism, and forms its own aesthetic tension. In breadth, because of the distance to the reality, it accommodates materials and themes which are disdained or impossiblly expressed by the classic literature, and forms distinctive fictional world pictures. In limit, ignoring reality, it becomes flat and homogenization, with content expressed as a single protagonist, a single ethical emotion even a single world order, in the form of the performance of a single rhetorical skills, a single narrative mode.
