After decades of reform and policy implementation, Australia has explored a more mature network governance model in basin water environmental governance. This paper takes the practice of Murray - darling basin water environmental governance as an example, analyzes the roles and functions of government, communities, non - governmental organizations, enterprises and the public in basin water environmental network governance, as well as the relationship of network structure between them, and probes into the trust mechanism, learning mechanism and coordination mechanism in basin water environmental network governance.
