This paper analyzes the identical theme of the poem Haolixing and the English version of the novel The Plage, as well as their different backgrounds, and continues its discussion of the characteristics of their different literary forms. To conclude, the article analyzes the two different wars as reflected in the two works in the term of their justice, and stresses the two author＇s sympathy for the war sufferers, their pursuit of freedom and the desire for justice.
