应用于SoC的电源管理模块的设计

摘要 基于SoC中的多电压域,研究并设计一款片内集成飞电容的可重构开关电容型稳压器。同传统结构相比,芯片管脚数目以及母板尺寸得到减小,同时有效降低了封装的复杂程度。采用SMIC 0.18μm CMOS工艺,对所设计的电路进行仿真验证,当输出电压为0.75 V时,输入电压范围可以达到1.65 V(1.35V-3V),功率效率大部分超过50%,其中输入电压在1.35V-2V效率可达60%以上,在输出电容不计算在内时,功率密度为8.46 m W/mm2,片内飞电容的总容值仅为760p F。 Based on the Soc multi-voltage domains, we propose a Switched-Capacitor ( SC ) DC-DC converter which employ integrated fly capacitor while supporting reconfigurable. Compared with the traditional SC converter, the number of pins,the size of motherboard and the complexity of package have been reduced. The circuits are verified by SMIC 0.18um CMOS process. When the output voltage is 0.75 V, the SC converter supports input voltages of 1.35V-3V and achieves 73.8% efficiency. The output power density can reach 8.46mW/mm2 while the output capacitance is not taken into account.
