Paracoccus marginatus Williams and Granara de Willink, originated from Mexico and Central America, is an important pest of eco- nomic fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants in tropical and subtropical regions. Here morphological identification of field, distribution, host plants, biology and economic importance of this mealybug species were introduced.
