The paper briefly introduces the main properties and parameters of SDD23 broad-gauge diesel locomotive exported to Pakistan, focusing on the composition and working principle of the traction drive system and AC auxiliary transmission system as well as the control principle of self-developed microcomputer control system and generator excitation system.
