浅论汉字形音义三者的关系

A Shallow View about the Relationship among Font, Pronunciation and Semantic Content in Chinese Character

汉字形音义具有相对独立性,音和义的关系是任意的,字形巩固了音义关系。音和义对应起来形成同源字,形和义之间对应起来形成表意字,用音联系两个意义的是假借字。但同源字、假借字是约定俗成的,表意字的形义是有确切联系的。汉字参与对客观世界的加工整理是汉字具有形音义三方面的关系的客观原因。

The font, pronunciation and semantic content of Chinese character is more independent . The relationship between pronuncia-tion and semantic content is arbitrary, which is consolidated by the character＇s font. If the word＇s pronunciation and semantic content have some stable relationship, then the word is a paronym. If the word＇s font and semantic content have some stable relationship, then the word is a ideogram. If two words＇ semantic content have nothing in common but only share the same font, then one of them is loan character. The relationship of font, pronunciation and semantic content in paronym and loan character is established by convention. The relationship between font and semantic content in ideogram is reasonable. The reason of this kind of relationship in font, pronunciation and semantic content is that Chinese character not only record the language, but also take part in explain the world.
