宋朝建立后,为适应新的形势与要求,服务于新的时代,人们在重构开国故事的过程中,围绕与宋太祖、宋太宗相关的史事,出现了一系列造假与虚构现象,具体表现为通过伪造和虚构史事,来塑造宋太祖的神圣、仁德形象以及满足统治阶层利益博弈的需要等。导致出现这一现象的根本原因,乃在于历史的当代性。虽然历史的当代性并不必然导致伪造与虚构史事问题的出现,但却为伪造与虚构史事提供了可能,而统治者对历史编纂的干预、普通民众及士大夫阶层普遍缺乏必要的史学素养、一些史家对史学求真原则的坚持不彻底等因素,则将这种可能变为现实。

After the establishment of the Northern Song dynasty, in adapting to the new situation and requirements, and serving to the new era, there had been a series of false and fictitious phenomenon around the historical events on Song Taizu and Song Taizong in the process of reconstruction of founding story in which painting Song Taizu an holy and kindly image to meet the needs of the ruling class. The underlying reasons of this phenomenon is the contemporariness of history. Because the contemporariness of history makes fraud and fiction possible, and some factors, such as the historical compilation intervened by the ruler,people＇s limited history qualities and the truth-seeking principle neglected by some historians,and so on, make the likelihood become realism.
