摘要
通过问卷调查、访谈、听课对师范生和中学英语教师信念进行研究。结果表明,师范生和中学英语教师在英语本质、教师信念来源方面差异不大;在英语学习、课堂管理方面教师信念普遍优于师范生;在教师角色、学生角色、课程、教学与评估方面,师范生信念普遍优于中学教师。
The author made a study of the teachers' beliefs of several high school English teachers and some seniors majoring in English by means of questionnaire, interview and classroom teaching observance. The findings demonstrate that little difference is found out between the teachers and the seniors concerning the quintessence of the English language and the source of the teachers' beliefs. However, they hold totally different beliefs in English language learning and classroom management. In these two respects, the beliefs held by the teachers are superior, while those held by the seniors are inferior. The seniors hold more reasonable beliefs in terms of the roles as the teacher or as the student, as well as in such aspects as curriculum, teaching and evaluation, while the teachers' beliefs are less reasonable than theirs in terms of the roles or in these regards.
