随着认知语言学的发展,二语习得的认知规律广受关注。原型范畴理论从认知角度探究语言内部各要素之间以及语言与客观世界之间的联系,为英语词汇习得提供了新的思路——加强基本层次范畴词汇的学习;多义词的习得以原型意义为中心;注重隐喻、转喻思维意识的培养。

With the development of Cognitive Linguistics, the cognitive law of second language acquisition has aroused general concern. Prototype Theory, from the cognitive angle, explores the internal link in language and the relation between language and the objective world, thus opening a new perspective for English lexical acquisition.
