To stabilize the role of libraries, a relatively perfect characteristic database must be constructed, including not only national characteristic culture, but also new things from the society, as only in this way can it promote national development and progress. National characteristic culture has laid a solid foundation for the construction of characteristic database and made it feasible, so the construction of libraries in minority nationality regions must highlight regional national characteristic culture. In face of the problems in the construction of characteristic database, we should pay attention to whether the database represents the highest level of the certain nationality, whether it can promote the economic development in minority nationality regions, whether it is well planned, whether the database is complete, and whether related workers are strictly investigated.
