The Application of Catford's Translation Shift Theory in Network Novel Translation

随着全球化脚步的加快,各国之间的文化交流越发频繁,人们越来越容易从网络上接触到文学作品,网络小说成为一种新兴阅读方式,而网络小说的翻译研究历史并不长。本文通过对翻译转换理论的回顾,结合网络小说文本中若干语句汉译的实例分析,来探讨转换理论在网络小说英译汉实践中的应用。

With the increasing globalization, countries around the world exchange cultures more frequently. Now that people can easily get access to net work novels in the Internet, net work reading raises a new fashion. However, there are no enough researches for net-work novel. This paper reviews the Translation Shift Theory and analyzes the theory＇s application in the translation of net work novel with case studies from it.
