摘要
工程人才的人文素养是其能力构成的一个重要组成部分,成为一名优秀的工程师,不但要掌握坚实的专业知识,还要具有较强的创新精神和动手能力,拥有广博的人文知识。文章通过对美国伍斯特理工学院的工程人才培养实践的梳理,分析了该校人文素养项目历程、项目构成和培养目标,从建立培养目标体系、实践活动和搭建项目平台等几个角度,总结了给我们的启示。
Humanistic qualities are an important part of the abili- ties for the engineering talents to become a good engineer, not only have a firm professional knowledge, but also have strong innovative spirit and practical ability, and have a broad range of humanistic qualities. The article analyzes the development, composition and training objectives of humanistic qualities training for engineering talents in Worcester Polytechnic Institute, USA (WPI), and summarizes the enlightenments from the aspects of establishing a training target system, practical activities and building the project platform.
