世界英语背景下大学英语教材文化配置评析

A Cultural Analysis of College English Textbooks under the Background of World English

世界英语与文化多元化发展对我国英语教材编写提出了新的挑战。通过对近十多年来具有一定代表性的四套大学英语教材阅读素材的文化区域归属的数据统计,可以看出目前我国大学英语教材仍存在英美文化权重过大、本土文化边缘化、其它国家文化缺失等问题,重新审视与探讨大学英语教材的文化配置方案是符合世界英语发展潮流与我国国情的当务之急。

With economic and cultural globalization,English has become an international language,which poses a new challenge for the compilation of college English textbooks. The statistical analysis of the cultural configuration of four series of English textbooks reflects such problems as Anglo-American culture orientation,the marginalization of local culture and lack of ESL / EFL cultures. A new cultural selection and configuration in college English textbooks corresponding with the variations of English and the diversification of English cultures is to be expected.
