Strengthening the Protection and Utilization of Jiangxi Academy Culture

江西有书院近2000所,占全国书院的1/4强,居各省之首,历史悠久,底蕴深厚,是全国书院发展的中心地区,在中国书院史上独领风骚,对我国古代教育和学术文化的发展以及书院建筑体系的完善发挥了重要作用。全省书院现仅存170多所,虽然在保护、研究、利用方面取得显著成效,但仍然处于初级阶段,面临着许多问题有待解决。

There were nearly 2000 academies in Jiangxi,representing more than 1/4 of all academies nationwide,and the largest number among all provinces.Jiangxi academies have long histories and profound background.Jiangxi used to be the center in the development of academies nationwide,and played the leading role in Chinese academy history,influencing greatly the development of ancient Chinese education and academic culture,and the perfection of academic architecture system.Currently there are only about 170 academies in existence in Jiangxi province.Although outstanding achievements have been made in the protection,research,and utilization of academies,we are still at the initial stage of the work and face many problems to be solved.
