The comments in Congzhen-edition Chin Ping Mei are characterized by rich content, profound connotation and extraordinary splendor. This paper is concerned with the artistic aspects in the comment study, including figures, personality description, descriptive techniques and narrative structure. This is to show the commentators＇ understanding and viewpoints.
