论《瓦解》的死亡叙事艺术

Death as a Narrative Strategy in Achebe's Things Fall Apart

文章从叙事学的角度分析尼日利亚著名小说家阿契贝长篇代表作《瓦解》中的死亡事件和死亡意象。笔者认为,《瓦解》中的死亡或参与小说故事情节的演绎,或参与小说非洲文化符码的建构,或参与小说同《圣经》的互文性仿写。小说中的死亡事件和死亡意象不仅是叙事客体,更是一种有效的叙事手段。

This essay approaches the death images and incidents in Chinua Achebe＇s best-known novel Things Fall Apart（ 1958） from the perspective of narratology. It can be seen that the death images and incidents in the novel function not only as the contents of narration but also as a narrative strategy for either the design of the plot,the reconstruction of the African image or the making of intertextuality between the novel and The Bible.
