摘要
目的:研究利用基于眼动原理设计的软件训练被试的英文阅读认知水平。方法:被试随机分成实验组和对照组两组。实验过程历时一年。被试参与常规课堂阅读教学。实验组同时进行软件训练。对照组成员接触实验组的阅读材料。结果:相比于对照组,实验组被试无论是阅读成绩、注视频率、回视次数和眼跳幅度均有不同程度的提高。结论:利用眼动技术确实能提高英文阅读认知水平。
Purpose:To explore the possibility of using Acereader, a software based on the research of eye-tracking data in reading in order to prove whether this software could help students improve their eye-tracking data as well as reading competence. Method: 39English majors of native Chinese Speakers were randomly chosen to participate a one-year experiment. Both the control group and experimental group attend the normal reading class, while the experimental group also receives the eye-tracking-based training whose reading material is distributed among the control group. Result: The experimental group exhibits more fixation frequencies, less regressions and less reading time than the control group'. Conclusion: Compared with traditional teaching method, eye-tracking-based training is more helpful in improving the trainees' reading competence.
