Prospects for Eastern Silk Road Economic Belt and Sino-Russian Cooperation

在俄罗斯与中国发表欧亚经济联盟建设与丝绸之路经济带建设对接合作联合声明的大背景下,中国黑龙江省推出的东部陆海丝绸之路经济带战略,对俄罗斯远东地区来说是一个难得的机遇。双方合作首先是在交通运输基础设施建设和开通亚欧运输通道方面。东丝路带框架下的亚欧通道离不开远东港口和西伯利亚大铁路,参与这方面的合作对俄方是有利的。

Within the context of joint statement that Russia and China announced to connect Eurasian Economic Union to Silk Road Economic Belt, Heilongjiang province in China put forward the strategy of Eastern Land - Sea Silk Road Economic Belt, which was a scarce opportunity to Russian Far East. Cooperation between both sides focuses on construction of transport infra- structure and opening of Eurasian transport channels. Opening of Eurasian channels is closely involved in the ports in the Far east and Trans -Siberian Railway, in which cooperation is very beneficial to Russia.
