党的十八大以来,习近平围绕培育和弘扬社会主义核心价值观,深刻论述了中华优秀传统文化与社会主义核心价值观的内在联系。强调培育和弘扬社会主义核心价值观必须立足中华优秀传统文化,吸收中华优秀传统文化的营养,使中华优秀传统文化成为涵养社会主义核心价值观的重要源泉,中华优秀传统文化为社会主义核心价值观提供了丰厚的滋养。社会主义核心价值观体现了社会主义的本质要求,是当代中国文化软实力的灵魂和建设的重点。

Since the 18 thNational Party Congress,centering on how to foster and promote core socialist values,Xi Jinping has elaborated the intrinsic relation between the fine traditional Chinese culture and the core socialist values. He emphasizes that the cultivation and promotion of core socialist values should be based on the fine traditional Chinese culture,which can provide essential nutrients and major resources for the development of core socialist values. As an embodiment of the essence of socialism,the core socialist values should be the focus for the construction of contemporary Chinese soft power.
