Research on Culture Education in Higher Vocational English

高职英语文化教育不仅能够提升学生的人文素质,而且能够提高学生的跨文化交际能力,使学生准确运用英语,实现有效交流的目的。通过对高职英语教学中文化教育的重要意义的分析,指出在高职英语教学中进行文化教育的具体途径,从而培养和增强学生的文化意识,促使高职英语教学质量的提升、教学效率的优化。

The culture education of higher vocational English can improve not only the students＇ hu- manistic quality, but also the students＇ ability of the cross-cultural communication, and it makes the students use English accurately in order to achieve the goal of effective communication. Based on the analysis of the importance of cultural education in higher vocational English teaching, the paper points out the specific ways of cultural education in higher vocational English teaching, so as to cultivate and enhance students＇ cultural consciousness, and lead to the improvement of the quality in the higher vocational English teaching and the optimization of teaching efficiency.
