《图像与文本——汉唐佛经叙事文学之传播研究》是李小荣先生的新作,是书成功运用叙事学、美术学、传播学等跨学科研究方法,为佛经叙事文学研究开辟了新的路径。具体而言,其创获主要有三:一为视阈宏阔,融贯中西;二为体系严密,个案精审;三为析理精微,系乎实证。

The book Image and Text-the Circulation of Han Narrative Literature of Buddhist Texts Spreading from Han to Tang Dynasties,a new works of Mr. Li Xiaorong,is created with narrative theory,art science,communication science and other interdisciplinary research methods and opens up a new way for the study of Buddhist narrative literature. The achievement of this works is that its perspective is broad integrating both Chinese and Western thoughts; its structure is tight with accurate cases and its analyzing methods is subtle with empirical cases.
