A Research on Royal Canadian Mounted Police Participating on UN Peacekeeping Operations

加拿大军方参与联合国维和行动始于20世纪50年代,而其警察参与联合国维和行动则始于1989年。加拿大警察参与联合国维和行动是加拿大参与国际和平行动的重要组成部分,也是加拿大皇家骑警开展国际警务合作的重要组成部分。加拿大警察参与联合国维和行动的体制机制、立场观点以及特色特点都与我国警察参与联合国维和行动存在诸多不同之处。但其有些做法,可以为中国警方在相关领域开展工作提供有益借鉴。

In 1940s, Canada started to deploy its military troops participating United Nations Peacekeeping Opera- tions. On contrast, Canada started to deploy its police officers participating United Nations Peacekeeping Operations from 1989. Deploying police officer participating United Nations Peacekeeping Operations is one of the important parts of the overall International Peace Operations for Canada. Meanwhile, it is also an inessential part of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police＇ s international policing corporations. Obviously, the mechanism, characteristics, and the point of view of Canada on deploying police officers participation the UN peacekeeping operations are quite different from China. However, some of the practice of Canada can be beneficial to the relevant filed of China.
