摘要
借助索绪尔的能指与所指理论研究发现,专名包括专有名词和具体语境中具有确定指称对象的语言表达式。专有名词的表达形式为"固定的指示记号",具体语境中的专名表达形式体现为音素、词素、词、词组、句子等层面。专名意义在语言使用中随着能指与所指的各自变化或互动变迁而变化。这有助于推动新时期的专名研究发展,同时致力于语言哲学与语言学之间的整合性研究。
Based on the notions of signifier and signified, this paper reconsiders some issues of proper names, including its definition, expression forms and meanings, and deals with the different concepts of proper names between philosophical and linguistic aspects. It holds that philosophical proper names include linguistic proper names and expressions for denoting specific objects in particular contexts; the former＇s language forms are rigid designators, and the latter＇s includes phones, morphemes, words, phrases and sentences. At last, this paper ends with the view that the meanings of proper names vary according to the changes of signifier and signified. Therefore, this research promotes proper name studies in the new era, and contributes a little to the integrative study of philosophy of language and linguistics.
