摘要
文章采用2005-2013年我国省级面板数据,对各省市区所处的城镇化发展阶段进行判断,讨论了我国城镇化发展的空间差异,并将我国基于城镇化水平划分为三个研究区域,分析和对比了城镇化与环境污染的关系。结果表明,城镇化加速阶段的地区,城镇化率的提升将加剧该地区环境污染问题,而城镇化终期阶段的地区,城镇化水平对其环境质量已不存在显著的影响。从城镇化加速阶段的前期与后期的比较来看,城镇化进程对资源环境的压力,前期明显的大于后期。工业化进程在城镇化加速阶段的地区对环境问题有显著的改善作用,而科技进步与环境治理是城镇化终期阶段的地区进一步改善环境问题的有效途径。
Using the provincial panel data of China from 2005 to 2013, the paper judges the development stage of urbaniza- tion of provincial-level administrative areas and discusses spatial differences in the development of urbanization. And the pa- per divides China into three research regions according to the level of urbanization, and analyzes and compares tile relation- ship between urbanization and environmental pollution. The results show that urbanization will increase environmental pollu- tion in areas of urbanization accelerating stage, however, urbanization has no significant impact on environmental pollution in areas of the terminal stage of urbanization. From the comparison of earlier period and later period of accelerating stage, ur- banization process makes more pressure on resources and environment in the former than that in the latter. Industrialization process can significantly improve environment in areas of urbanization accelerating stage, and scientific and technological progress and environmental management are effective ways to further improve environment in areas of the terminal stage of urbanization.
