Recently, the unmanned aerial vehicle （UAV） has come under the scientific spotlight amongst the public. The CH （Rainbow） unmanned aerial system （UAS） with its indepen- dent intellectual property was developed by the China Acad- emy of Aerospace Aerodynamics （CAAA） under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
INTRODUCTION Recently,the unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)has come under the scientific spotlight amongst the public.The CH(Rainbow)unmanned aerial system(UAS)with its independent intellectual property was developed by the China Academy of Aerospace Aerodynamics(CAAA)under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.The CH series UAS has a complete product range,including 12 conventional types of UAS and 3 conceptual ones with a takeoff weight ranging from 580g to 4500kg and a flight altitude from 5m to 20,000m.CH UAS has been deployed to conduct security,safety and science and research related surveillance,monitoring and control operations.
