2013年10月21日,东亚银行济南分行开业的消息刷爆了济南金融圈。作为香港最大且最独立的本地银行,东亚银行济南分行的开业不仅是东亚银行在大陆开设的第26间分行,也是继汇丰银行、渣打银行外,落地市中区的第三家外资银行。从百年前的自开商埠到如今的金融大咖云集,市中区的金融力量可谓在济南独树一帜。

The Bank of East Asia(BEA) has operated continuously in China since the establishment of its first mainland branch in Shanghai in 1920.The Bank's China operations have steadily grown over the past 30 years of economic reform and today,BEA operates one of the most extensive branch networks of any foreign bank on the mainland.In early 2007,BEA established its whollyowned,locally-incorporated banking subsidiary,The Bank of East Asia(China) Limited( 'BEA China').Its network of 128 outlets includes Shanghai HQ,29 branches and 98 sub-branches in 42 cities on the Mainland.Since Shandong was endowed with the geographical advantage and has earned its place in economic power ranking,which serves the branch network strategy of BEA,its Jinan branch was launched in 2013.As provincial capital,Jinan meets BEA's definition of 'Important City'.We can not be more grateful for the generosity and keen support Shizhong District Government had provided since site selection of us branch.To our even greater surprise,we were received by not only the Trade Bureau but a group consisting heads of 18 important government departments including Industrial and Commercial Bureau,Tax Bureau,Financial bureau and etc.The District Government had done best on policy support and great on the coordination work,which strengthened our confidence and determination of the development and our work of localization.
