摘要
USNEWS全球大学排名的评价指标,除了论文总数、授予博士学位数等少数指标为数量指标与大学规模相关外,多数指标不依赖于大学规模,主要是衡量学校研究成果的产出质量,质量指标占据了相当大的比重。与其他国家的大学比较分析,中国学科强弱分布存在不均衡状态,工程、材料等8个学科领域已位居全球前10名;但在微生物学、免疫学等学科领域仍十分薄弱。中国重点建设的9所高校与学校规模有关的指标排名已经居于全球前列,但表征质量、不依赖于学校规模的归一化引用影响指数、高被引论文比例等指标排名仍相对靠后。中国需要对相关政策进行研究并予以调整,建立有利于产出高水平研究成果的评价和激励机制,实现从数量增长向质量提升的转变。
Most of evaluation indexes of USNEWS Best Global Universities Rankings focus on the output quality of research results instead of university scale,in which quality indicators occupy a considerable proportion.Through the '211Project', '985Project' key construction,the overall strength of China's higher education has been significantly improved.However,compared with foreign universities,the disparity is still obvious.The unbalanced state of discipline distribution still exists in China.Eight disciplines including engineering and material are among the top 10 in the world,while other fields are still very weak.Chinese university ranking has been in the global forefront in connection with the school scale indicator,while the characterization of quality,which is independence of the scale of school ranking,still remains relatively low.
