摘要
课堂教学作为英语课程设计的重要环节,是实现教学目标的重要保障。本文以12位大学英语教师课堂行为为研究对象,以学生评教结果为切入点,采用问卷、访谈、课堂观察的实证研究方法,检验大学英语教师课堂行为与学生评教结果之间的关系,探讨学生评教结果处于不同等级的教师在课堂行为上的差异。本研究对规范大学英语教师课堂行为具有启示作用。
As an essential component of the curriculum design, English classroom teaching is an important guarantee to achieve the teaching goal. By taking 12 college English teachers' classroom behaviors as the research object and students' evaluation on the teachers' performance as a starting point, this paper inspects the relationship between college English teachers' classroom behavior and students' evaluation;Furthermore, it explores the differences in classroom behavior among teachers whose students' evaluation results are on different levels. The empirical research methods, such as questionnaires, interviews and classroom observation, have been employed, and further related interviews and classroom observations are carried out. Some specific recommendations for improving the effectiveness of college English classroom teaching have been put forward, which will play a guiding role for col- lege English teaching.
