基于车脸的停车场车辆品牌识别

Recognition of Vehicle Brand in the Parking Lot Based on Car Face

提出了一种低质量图像中车辆品牌识别的算法.通过对称的极大稳定区域分割出车脸,进而提取出车脸的塔式梯度直方图特征,输入支持向量机进行车辆品牌识别.实验证明算法对光照不均和相机角度造成的低质量图像有很强的鲁棒性.

An algorithm is proposed for vehicle brand recognition in degrade image. It detects the front face of car based on symmetrical MSER regions,and then extracts the pyramid histogram of gradient orientation( PHOG) features for SVM to classify the vehicle brand. Experimental results indicate that this algorithm is robust to the low quality of non-uniform illumination and camera angle.
