文化融合消费——新型城镇化语境下老城更新路径探析

摘要 新型城镇化是中国梦照入现实的重要途径,在这一语境下以苏州为代表的长三角发达地区正日益向存量更新转型,存量区域的消费空间发展也迎来新的契机。苏州作为向消费性社会转型的城市,如何传承吴地文化,促进文化与消费深度融合是时代发展的新命题。苏州人民路沿街建筑界面整治及重点地块城市设计是新型城镇化背景下房地产开发、消费活动、地方文化复兴相结合的老城更新典例,设计借鉴斯图尔特·霍尔"文化表征"理论,运用现代手法对地方文化要素进行空间重构,塑造多个内涵和外在相得益彰的体验容器;传播地方文化,倡导全新生活方式。对于老城更新中消费空间的设计路径,该项目从特色价值提炼、特色资源利用、特色路径串联以及多种交通组织等角度进行了有益探索,期望能为类似项目提供参照与借鉴。 New-type urbanization is one of the critical ways of China Dream. In this context the developed areas in the Yangtze River Delta is under transformation. Urban renewal brings a new opportunity for the development of consumption spaces. As a city of social transformation to the consumer, Suzhou has to face the new proposition including culture inheritance and depth fusion of culture and consumption. Urban design of key regions on Renmin Road in Suzhou is a typical example on the background of new-type urbanization with the real estate development, consumption and local cultural renaissance. The design refers to the theory of "cultural representations" of Stuart Hall, reconstructs spaces with local cultural elements, and creates various types of experience containers. It also helps to spread local culture and advocate new lifestyle. Based on the useful exploring in this case from the aspects such as feature value refine, feature path connection in series and multiple traffic organization, this paper can affords a salutary lesson to the similar projects.
