论我国高校英语翻译教学中的启蒙意识

Analyses of Enlightenment Consciousness in College English Translation Teaching

伴随着国际交流的不断深入和日益频繁,英语翻译发挥着越来越重要的作用。因此,高校英语翻译也日益成为重要的教学内容。翻译教学的最终目标是培养具有翻译能力的人才,但是现在高校在翻译教学中过分地关注学生的技能培养,而对学生的"道"即翻译意识的培养有所欠缺。本篇文章在对学生应具有的翻译意识存在的问题进行剖析的基础上,指出翻译无定本、原版词典、文本类型、技能意识等翻译启蒙理念应该在高校英语翻译课程中得到贯彻。文章针对英语教学的现存问题,提出提高我国高校英语翻译水平的方法和措施。

With the continuous development of international communication, English translation plays a more and more important role. Nowdays, English translation in colleges and universities has become an important part of teaching programs. The ultimate goal of translation teaching is to develop the talents with translation ability. However, now skills＇ development of students＇tranlation is excessively focused on in colleges and universities translation teaching, while the ＂dao＂, namely enlightenment consciousness＇s development, is in severe demand. Therefore, this article analyzes the translation consciousness that the students should master and then points out that the same translation can have several versions and some translation enlightenment consciousness, such as the original dictionary, text types, skills awareness, should be implemented in translation course in colleges and universities. And meanwhile, the paper also analyzes the role and the current situation of the English translation in order to improve the students level of English translation in colleges and universities.
