城市化、经济增长与公共图书馆发展——基于我国省级面板数据

Urbanization,Economic Growth and the Development of Public Library——Based on Chinese Provincial Panel Data

文章基于30个省份2000-2013年的面板数据构建面板VAR模型,并就经济增长以及人口城市化对公共图书馆发展水平的影响进行方差分解和脉冲响应分析。研究表明,人均GDP、人口城市化均是公共图书馆发展的格兰杰原因,其中人口城市化是影响公共图书馆发展的最主要因素。针对结论,文章提出公共图书馆发展的建议。

This paper constructs a PVAR model based on panel data of 30 provinces in China 2000-2013, and gives an analysis of the variance decomposition and the impulse response for urbanization rate and economic growth impacting on the development of public library. The empirical results show that per capita GDP, population urbanization are the causes of the development of public libraries, urbanization rate is the most important factor. Suggestions for public library development are put forward based on the findings.
