Rationality Defending Academic Freedom

基于理性的学术自由是真正的学术自由。理性缺失造成学术自由的失范:过度干预学术自由导致学术责任失范、不合理的学术评价制度导致学术道德失范、功利主义价值取向导致学术文化失范等。理性是学术自由的限度和保障,需要从学术自由的三重理性即学术责任理性、学术道德理性和学术文化理性三个维度分别明晰学术自由的目标限度、伦理限度和精神限度。政府、学术组织和学术人的理性是捍卫学术自由的核心元素。

Academic freedom on the basis of rationality is really academic freedom.Lack of rationality might incur irregularity of academic freedom,because over-intervention on academic freedom would cause irregularity of academic responsibility;irrational evaluation system of academic would bring about irregularity of academic morality;and the value orientation of utilitarianism would lead to irregularity of academic culture.Rationality is the limitation and protection of academic freedom.It should clarify the limitation of goal,ethics and spirit from such three aspects as academic responsibility rationality,academic morality rationality and academic culture rationality.The rationality of government,academic institution and academics was the key element to defend academic freedom.
