谈古文“讯”与“谇”的互用

On the Mutual-use of “Xun” and “Sui” in Ancient Prose

"讯"与"谇"这两个在现代汉语里几乎毫无联系的字却在上古文献中常常互用。对于其原因,有学者认为是传抄过程中因形近而产生的误写;有学者认为两字是音近义同的通用;也有人认为是音近的假借。本文试从两字的形、音、义三个方面对这一问题做出探讨。

'Xun'and 'Sui'are two different Chinese words which barely have links with each other.However,their mutual-use with each other are often seen. Some scholars thought it was caused by miswriting in the process of making private copies; others thought it was because of that the two words were used generally with similar pronunciation and same meaning; some thought it was a loan character. This paper attempted to discuss this problem from the shapes,pronunciations and meanings of the two words.
